Wooden clinker North-east coble (Jack Charlton). Given by Jack Charlton (football World Cup winner in 1966) to a Tyneside charity who sold it to the present owner. Stable. 16ft long. 5ft wide. 2ft keel to gunwale. Removable passenger seats. Built by Rana  (No. 19159). Can be rowed or powered by an outboard. Varnished above the waterline, painted blue below the waterline. Was in the manpowered section of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Pageant on 3rd June 2012 (see You-tube ‘Diamond Jubilee: Royal Pageant sails down the Thames + Sky News, pause at 1 min:19 seconds and look lower centre slightly to the right) with 6 aboard. Recently varnished, painted and refurbished (strengthened oarlock positions) - but few minor scratches (arising from the Pageant). Jack has given us many happy memories. Now it is time for a new owner to look after it. Collection only (unless delivery to mid-point agreed in advance). Trailer possible by agreement. Low starting price (but reserve set at the price we paid for Jack) with free bunting and memories.
