FT243 crystal on 8400 kHz for the 6m 50.4 MHz AM calling frequency. NEW UNUSED EXCELLENT CONDITION.
Here is an original old WW2 era FT243 crystal on a useful six meter band frequency of 50.400 MHz. This is a rare and much sought-after crystal. It has the standard 1/2 inch pin spacing used with most amateur radio equipment manufactured throughout the period from 1945 - 1968 and works especially well in any EF JOHNSON, HALLICRAFTERS, HEATHKIT, KNIGHT and similar transmitters.
This is the frequency everyone uses all over the USA for 50 MHz AM operation and in almost all commercial and homebrew transmitters they use a multiplying factor of X6 which will put this crystal right on 50.400 MHz. Ideal for making sure you are in the right frequency when operating 6m AM. This crystal has been fully tested and is in excellent operating condition. It has lasted this long, so there's no reason it shouldn't provide excellent service and last for another 60 years also! 73 and happy bidding!
