Austin Healey has donated his bespoke black dance shoes to the Small Steps Celebrity Shoe Auction 2012.
Austin Healey is a former English rugby union player, who played as
a utility back for Leicester Tigers, and has represented the England
national rugby union team and the British Lions. He has 51 England caps
and 2 Lions caps. He also competed in Strictly Come Dancing 2008. He says of this lot,
"I wore these shoes on Strictly Come Dancing when I danced the jive with Erin
Boag to You Can't Stop the Beat in 2008.
I am donating them to the Small Steps Auction to raise money to buy aid
for children who scavenge on rubbish dumps around the globe".
These shoes have been autographed by Austin and are 100% authentic.
