This auction is for one of two super sexy Ossie Clark era Radley dresses made from moss crepe I have on offer this week (both came from the same original owner).
This dress is an amazing shape with what I would call “deco” princess line paneling, and the most amazing open back which has been laced up. This is SO Ossie!!! The dress is a really vibrant, rich purple and accented with white contrast stitching. The lacing means it can easily be made a little bit tighter if need be.
Bust: 36-38in
Waist: 29in
Length: 42in (not inc straps)
Roughly suited to a size 10 to 12 I would think. Labeled as a 14- but seems a little smaller
Condition: This dress is unfortunately victim to the classic moss crepe problem- fading. The photos make it look worse than it is I think, but this is particularly bad on one side. I would say it is still wearable as is though!!! There is also a little bit of breakage in the contrast stitching, and a few (very minor) pulls.

Welcome to the second of my two FAB-U-LOUS seventies sales. This week it is "prim and glam". Lots of incredibly wearable pieces including fabulous maxi dresses and super short dagger point collar dresses. Lots of collectible labels (would i offer anything else!!! ; ) ) including Ossie Clark, Radley and Biba.

A little bit of background on me: I am an obsessive vintage collector and have amassed a huge collection of vintage from Victorian right through to the 1980s. I am about to embark on a rather pricey masters at the Royal College of Art (studying design history) and henceforth I am having to sell off large portions of my collection to fund my studies. Over the coming weeks I’ll be listing everything from glamorous 30s evening dresses, to novelty print 50s day dresses to 60s beaded shift dresses. I can’t believe myself quite how much I have amassed! I am also selling items from the collection of Naomi Thompson, including items that featured in her recent Style me Vintage: Clothes book.

Most of the items I sell are vintage, this means they will not be like new items and show some age, but where possible I will always mention this!
