Up for auction is my original ticket for the Royal Charity Premiere of The Empire Strikes Back- a rare item indeed!
This ticket is silver with black text, in great condition considering it is 33 years old, and shows my stated place in the stalls of the Odeon, Leicester Square, on Row N, seat 35, on that night of Tuesday 20th May 1980. A wonderful night out as I recall most vividly, and certainly an evening to treasure for any 10 year old (as I was at that time!). The ticket measures: 20.5cm x 13.3cm and is a decent weight, I would hazard a guess that it is around the 200gsm mark. The photographs depict both the front and the back of the ticket.
