As title, this is as rough as they come, for parts only,
engine number 73m 9064 frame number 73m 9064 case needs repair by the kickstart, kickstart turns the engine over but it just goes round and round, and will not disengage, would have made riding it interesting with the kick start whirling round at clutch basket speed! forks look good but the tubes have pitting and need re doing and the bushes are shot, tank has had mush put on the underneath not sure if its just to repair damage from rubbing or a repair to stop leaking, looks good otherwise, apart from the copper pipe plumbing for a fuel line Barrel is on 0.5mm o/s (no piston), and has had the exhaust thread bored out and converted to slip on fit with springs, looks like it would work ok, but needs more springs. crank is there, and there are gears, clutch etc serviceable parts I can see are as follows hubs and back plates, front stainless spokes (alloy nipples are shot as is the rim) rear rim is a replacement borrani item head is good, a1 threads yokes are nice, handle bars are originals with the little degree tab on them, frame looks ok, one of the engine mounts has been re welded swingarm looks ok loads of little original bits and bobs the bike has been as is for at least 15 years, FOR PARTS ONLY THIS IS AN HONEST AUCTION A £280 BID WILL BUY IT BUT YOU MUST COME AND GET IT PROMPTLY, ENGINE IS LOOSE IN THE FRAME, AND 15MINS WILL SEE IT IN THE BACK OF AN ESTATE CAR On 07-Jul-13 at 18:49:29 BST, seller added the following information: to be fair to all bidders and watchers auction will run to the end, I am away until friday, collecton on sunday please |
