Who has room for a giant mirror? Certainly not me. That’s why I was thrilled to discover this diminutive example. Besides, from my own observations, I’ve learned that the older one gets, the more one trends toward smaller mirrors. (Or, maybe that’s one of Newton’s laws – or in the Bible someplace. I forget.)

I had to pat myself on the back for remembering to take the next picture.

I always take my camera with me when I’m about to load up a household or an estate, but I rarely remember to take pictures of things in situ, but this time I remembered.

I posted the larger sampler a moment ago, and look for the little one in a day or so. It’s a sweetheart, AND it has a Clark Garrett provenance.

Note the little tight split at my arrow. I don’t believe it has been repaired. It has simply remained in place because of the glue-block brace on the back.

Just as I was about to mash the “List Your Item” button on eBay, I noticed a small split along the inner border. It’s less than 2” long. You could glue it if it bothers you, but it won’t, so I wouldn’t even mess with it. Old things experience life and most often have imperfections to prove it.
