The Sunbeam Funwagon is a VERY rare camper van produced by Rootes Group's Comer devision. You will find that even in an image search very few pictures of one even exist! The Sunbeam Funwagon was the version of the Comer Highwayman produced specifically for America. I beleive all of the Sunbeam Funwagons were sold in America and of those maybe two or three exist.

This is a 1967 Sunbeam Funwagon does drive although it has not been driving on the street for many years.  Has a new battery and starts right up.  Brakes, clutch and transmission work.  The oil pressure gage and voltmeter work while the clock and speedometer do not.  I do not think the water temp works.  The engine is a dual carb Sunbeam engine as found in a Sunbeam Alpine. The previous owner disassembled the interior which originally contained a sink, stove, bed, and table. The remnants are included and pictured.

The cab of the Funwagon is steel but the entire camper section is wood with an aluminum skin. There is NO FIBERGLASS! The original propane tank is still intact and engine parts are the same as an Alpine. This camper would make an amazing sight rolling into a British car show with another LBC on a trailer behind it.

Here is a video showing the Funwagon drive around the lot.
