That’s a beautiful sunburst L-7C, manufactured in 1962. Only 66 pieces of L-7C were manufactured that year - so it is not a frequent bird at all. The guitar is equipped with an original DeArmond 1000 (period-correct with the guitar), which delivers a fantastic, percussive, classic swing/bebop sound. The pick-up has its original 60’s-like screw-on cable input and I also send a proper cable with the guitar.

 

Beautifully matured all solid woods: solid spruce top, solid maple back and rims! Body width is 17’ and the depth is 3. 3/8’ – identical with a L-5. The guitar is very resonant, it has excellent acoustic qualities. Pure natural jazz sound both unplugged and amplified. Same feel and sound quality as an early 60’s L-5C – only difference is the price: the L-7C costs half of an L-5C from the same period.

 

The condition is almost immaculate. Structurally absolutely solid, no issues at all. Pls, check the supersized pictures!

Hier kommt eine seltene Jazzgitarre aus meiner privaten Sammlung: Gibson L-7C aus 1962 (nur 66 L-7C war in 1962 hergestellt!). Gitarre ist bestückt mit einem super DeArmond 1000 – klassik Swing/Bebop Klang.

 

Vollmassive hölzer: geschnitzte Fichte Decke, massive Ahorn Boden und Zargen. Die Gitarre hat die selbe Masse wie L-5 C - 17’ weit und 3.3/8’ tief Korpus. Die Gitarre ist extra-resonant, hat einen schönen warmen akustischen Ton: prazise Basse und warme, aber kristallklare hoche Registers. Die Gitarre ist ebenso superklasse wie eine L-5C aus der früh 60er, aber für halb-Preis.

 

Die ganze Gitarre ist in einem sehr guten Zustand – einfach ohne Mackel. (Bitte, sehen Sie die Bilder!)
