Service History

We pride ourselves on the inspection, authentication, and service of each amplifier, making this ready to plug in and play.

Valves tested OK/serviceable on this amplifier (but may need changing if you desire a matched set). We had to change an output valve in the service.

Please note that it is the philosophy of The Music Locker to keep all amplifiers as original as possible, only changing original components when absolutely necessary. This includes valves, capacitors, transformers, potentiometers, etc. This gives the buyer the option of tailoring to their exact needs, and may mean that the amplifier is not operating at optimum performance levels. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the amplifier in more depth upon receiving. The Music Locker cannot accept responsibility for any costs of refurbishment to a standard different to the one advertised.

 Cosmetic Inspection

This is in good, used condition. It has obviously been played in the past, hence the missing front panel and the changed speaker, but nothing that detracts on how good an amplifier this is!

Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.

Originality

In our opinion, the speaker has been upgraded to the Hiwatt 12" speaker installed. Everything else, we believe, is original.
