I have for sale a T30 ThinkPad by IBM, model 2366-86U. This is the 14.1 inch XGA model with ATi Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics (16mb). It comes installed with a 2.0ghz Pentium 4-M processor, 512mb of PC-2100 DDR SoDIMM RAM, and a 40gb hdd. Windows XP SP2 has been freshly installed as well as Office 2003 Professional alongside the latest Google Chrome. There is no Wi-Fi card installed but this model can accept a Mini-PCI type of wireless network card.

Included is an official IBM charger, the original IBM battery, and a new 3rd party (bought from screenaid) battery in November 2015. The new battery holds ~3 hours of charge from 100% whereas the old battery holds under 1 hour.

All the latest drivers have been installed and will be included in a directory in "My Documents" for future use, although drivers may also be found on the Lenovo website.

The unit is in working condition and while it is old (2002) is not the years, its the mileage. For the specifications it can be quick but there are some notes to accompany this unit specifically:
- the harddrive is slow and has a lot of use, potentially worthwhile to replace with a newer/faster unit
- RAM is finicky upon cold boot - T30s are known to have this issue although if this occurs a restart will correct the problem
- tiny dark spot on LCD screen, lower middle on the right-hand side - does not impair vision and is barely noticeable
- sometimes on boot up a prompt of "FAN ERROR" is shown, although this is bypassed by hitting "Esc" / escape - this is the CPU fan and either needs service (lubrication, cleaning) or outright replacement in the near future

Given these points above I decided to sell the system AS-IS but in working condition. I do not accept returns or refunds and offer no warranty on use/liability. It otherwise is fairly clean and as the second owner (bought in 2013) have used it sparingly these past years. It should be ok in either general data processing, web browsing, programming or as a project computer to use as parts or to outright restore.
