• 2 stroke engine oil for modern motorcycles• Synthetic based lubricant for demanding riding• Ensures ultimate engine protection & performance
Do you have a 2 stroke engine? This is the oil for you! The ultimate engine protection and performance for the most extreme and demanding riding conditions. Syntium Moto 2SX is a high technology synthetic based two stroke engine lubricant, conceived for the high performance motorcycles and scooters equipped with automatic lubrication system or premix. It's self mixing technology gives engine protection in the harshest of conditions, ensuring the best engine performance possible, regardless of your riding location.
What can this oil offer that will ensure its need? It greatly reduces the formation of carbon deposits whilst maintaining maximum performance. It also provides exceptional thermal and oxidation stability to ensure very minimum oil thickening at the very high temperatures it is operated at. In essence this is a testament of Petronas ambitious and aggressive venture is the development of ultimate performance.
So who are Petronas Lubricants? Is it a brand you can trust? As a global extractor and producer of oil, gas and power sources, Petronas are responsible for the full production of each oil, sealant and lubricant in their range. SpecificationsThis motorcycle engine oil exceeds the requirements set out by the motorcycle & scooter manufacturers & conforms to the following norms: API TC, JASO Premium FC, TISI, ISO L-EGD
The key norms & what they mean:
API - American Petrol InstituteUsed since approx. 1941. The S-classification refers to combustion engines & the second letter denotes the quality. From 1980 standard SF applied, from 88 SG, from 93 SH, & from 96 SJ. The addition of "/ CF" denotes that the oil has been tested using high performance reference engines. The API classification for 2 stroke engines is no longer in common use.
ACEA - European engine oil classificationValid since 1996, classes A1-A3 denote oils for petrol engines, B1-B4 those for diesel engines. Higher numbers denote better test performance.
JASO - Japanese engine oil classification The Jaso T 903 is currently the most important classification for 4 stroke engine oils, which covers performance within the main engine parts but also auxiliary areas such as the clutch. Suffixes MA & MB inform on slip resistance, whereby MA provides a higher slip resistance factor.
Viscosity (SAE)This norm describes the range of temperatures in which the engine oil will perform. In general, the smaller the integer with the W (Winter), the better the oil will continue to flow in cold temperatures. The larger the number without a letter, the better the oil will maintain lubrication in high temperature situations.
Safety NoticesNo particular safety notices required for this product. Careful use & application requires no particular pre-cautions. It is recommended that safety gloves & goggles are worn.
• Always follow the vehicle manufacturer recommendations when adding or exchanging engine oil.• Only store engine oil in the original container & ensure the lid remains airtight. • After use, do not use this container for other fluids & do not refill. • Most oil systems need a refill at least once a year.
First Aid: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact with the eyes occurs, rinse eyes under running water for several minutes, seek medical advice if problems persist. If taken internally, drink copious amounts of water, seek medical advice if problems persist.Usage instructions: Follow your vehicle manufacturer maintenance handbook. Never overfill your system with oil & ensure that the viscosity range of the oil you use matches that required for your motorcycle.
