This is a Mycroft Mark 1 Extendable. In a fit of enthusiasm back in 2015 I ordered a 3-pack and, now they've arrived, I realise that's rather overkill, and I just need one to start developing. So I'm selling one of my spares. It's totally as-new, never been opened except to take the attached photos. It's the Extendable version, so it has all the ports on the back, unlike the Basic.

You probably don't want to buy this unless you know what a Mycroft is but, as the website says:

Mycroft Mark 1: Designed to be extended, altered, modified, and hacked. This flexible device will voice-enable your life. Use Mark 1 to answer questions, control your IoT devices, drive a stereo system, or build a robot! The possibilities are endless. Mark 1 will arrive in a retail box ready to be turned on and integrated into your daily life. Includes Mycroft unit (Raspberry Pi 3; built-in speaker; RCA audio ouput ports; 8x32 LED display; dual NeoPixel "eyes"; built-in WiFi (802.11B/G/N); 10/100 Ethernet port; HDMI debug port; 4 USB ports; 40 pin GPIO connector; integrated Arduino Mini; enclosure with side-mount ports) and USA power adapter. NOTE: The 40-pin connector has a different pinout than a Raspberry Pi. The Pi's built-in Bluetooth is also disabled.

Note that this is not a replacement for Google Home or Amazon Echo - as the red card in the box says, this is currently a development device for hackers and tinkerers - although they hope to have it up to scratch as a domestic device by early next year. It's fully open source and you can develop your own skills for it, which is awesome, but if you expect to be able to tell it to "buy me a doll's house" out of the box then you are going to be disappointed. Also, the power adapter is USA (apparently, that's what everyone got) so you'll need a cheap shape adapter.

I paid for it, paid for shipping from the USA, and paid for the customs charges and VAT, so it's free and clear of obligations. The starting price is the same price that you could buy one from at the Mycroft Shop online - except that they aren't available yet, you'd need to get it shipped, and you'd have to pay customs charges. So a bargain, I feel.

Delivery is by MyHermes Tracked, 3-5 working days, insured for full value, signature required. Or collect from Loughborough, UK.

Let me know if you need more info. I'm travelling this week so responses may be a little delayed.
