This listing is for 26 seeds (25 plus 1 to grow on :) of Carolina Sieva Butter Beans / Lima Beans (same thing - just depends which side of the Mason Dixie line you're on :) These are pole beans that grow very tall - suppliers say 8-10 feet, but I know from personal experience that they grow 8-20 feet long.  As you can see in my picture, I use the vines to cover an arched walkway (makes for easy picking and good looks at the same time!)  The archway is 10 feet tall at it's highest point and the vines keep going after reaching the top.  The bean seeds themselves are small and chalky white, produces pods that contain anywhere from 2-4 seeds.  Must be spaced 3 or more inches from each other when planting. No insecticides used on the plants - completely organic controls only.

From my personal garden :) I am a big fan of these butter beans and was really disappointed last year when they were not available for sale as I had only saved about 50 seed from my 2010 crop.  Therefore, I was short about 200 seed!  So this year I have faithfully left half of my crop for seed production so that not only would I not have to worry in 2012, but so that I could offer them to other gardeners who insist on the BEST butter beans!!

All seeds are vine dried (naturally :) then picked and shelled by me personally.  I inspect each seed for stings, distortions, damage and only include the best of my pickings.

RE: Feedback - I feel that our relationship here on ebay consists of four parts - Purchase, Payment, Shipment, & Receiving.  Upon purchase, you send a payment; Upon payment, I send your shipment.  At time of shipment, Paypal automatically generates a tracking email and sends it to you.  I do not send emails upon any of the four occurences as it is now all automated.  I do personally respond to all inquiries and any questions or problems after the sale that might occur.  I do not include a packing slip because it costs me money in ink, paper & postage weight and serves absolutely no purpose since all of the transactions are viewable both on ebay and Paypal.  I do my utmost to assure every buyer of a smooth transaction and treat all buyers as I want to be treated when I buy something on ebay.  If you have any problems at all, please contact me as soon as possible.  Always contact a seller before leaving negative feedback.   Most problems are completely resolveable with little fuss.  I hope everyone's experience with ebay is a positive one and I work for that goal every day.  I wrote all of this because I highly value you as a buyer & want you to know what you can expect from me as a seller .  Thank you for visiting & good luck!!!
