IBM ThinkPad 600x Laptop
Amazing condition, complete with power
supply, wireless card and additional battery!
You're bidding for what you see in the photos. It's a functional IBM ThinkPad 600x (type 2645-5EG) in very nice condition. It could just do with a new CMOS battery (details below) - apart from that I can't imagine there are many about in such good condition.
Included in the sale are:
* The ThinkPad (of course!)
* 40GB Hard drive (note - this is scrubbed - NO Operating System or CoA)
* 320MB RAM (64MB built in plus 2 x 128MB dimms)
* Pentium 3 500 MHZ processor
* Power adaptor and (UK) plug
* 2 x batteries (e.g. one to go in the machine, plus a spare)
* 802.11b wireless card (compatible with Windows, don't think it will work out of the box with Linux)
* DVD ROM drive
NOTE: There is only 1 minor issue I'm aware of with this machine - you get prompted to set the date and time (see the screen shot) when you power on, this is because the CMOS battery has died. You could replace it to avoid this error. New CMOS batteries available on eBay from other sellers. Again, please get in touch if this is not clear.
