Here are the specs: First off, it has a high-end 7200RPM, 160GB hard drive. There is a powerful Intel T8300 (2.4GHz) Core2Duo CPU and 4 FULL GIGABYTES of DDR2 Memory. IT IS FAST! It has a Intel 965 Express Chipset GMA X3100 video chip (+256MB in Windows) and a BEAUTIFUL WXGA+ 14.1" (1440x900) widescreen display. It's loaded with a DVD-RW (DVD/CD Burner), built-in Modem, Gigabyte NIC, Internal Intel Express a/b/g Wireless, a 1394 port, and a TPM security chip. I'm including a good 9-Cell Battery that will do over 2 hours... some will do 4 hours! This is a USED T61 but it looks great... The beautiful 1440x900, 14.1" widescreen display is in GREAT CONDITION, as you can see in this blow-up picture, it is BEAUTIFUL! Again, there are NO dead pixels or blotches and it looks GREAT! The laptop has a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and has been UPDATED to Service Pack 1 and ALL Microsoft critical updates since. This Operating System is VERIFIED & ACTIVATED and 100% up to date!However, it does not have the troublesome, bulky software that new machines come with. It is clean! I also installed the updates I deemed important to this machines ideal functionality and performance, like the Media Player, DirectX, and Flash. Even the newest & fastest Internet Explorer 9 is installed. The Internet never looked so good! I also turned down System Restore so that it does not run continuously in the background. This T61 wide laptop is fine tuned to run faster. There is no software running at startup to inform anyone of anything (except Microsoft & AVAST). I also installed some very good and popular software like, AVAST Anti-Virus (requires free registration), Open Office.org (Word-like, Excel-like, and other Office-like programs), Foxit PDF reader, Roxio Easy DVD (burn software), Power DVD (player) & GIMP2 (a powerful open-source photo editing software like PhotoShop). All can be easily removed from the Control Panel if not wanted. This system is complete . There is a Vista Business license (CoA) affixed to the bottom of this laptop!
