Jaguar Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas

Here is a 1978 Jaguar Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas. With 57804 miles on the clock.The car itself has been stood in a dry garage for over ten years. Prior to being left it was beleived to be in road worthy condition, with a fresh battrey it fired up with no problems.

The car runs ok but is a bit smoky on start up could do with fresh petrol and a good sevice. Theres no problems with the gearbox seems to drive ok  in all gears but the brakes sticking a bit due to it being stood. The power steering works great. All the interior features work and all the dials seem to be ok. The front passenger side electric window does not work.

The car is a restoration project and will require work to the off side sill and rear wheel arch as pictured. Someone has already had ago at fixing this at some point and also the area under the boot needs attention. In other areas of the bodywork need slight attention.
