I love to roam the GA woods . But my $58.00 outdoors boots are hot, heavy, and not all that comfortable. My hikeing shoes are great but my ankles and lower legs get tore up by brush and limbs. ( and their is always a snake threat ) These Gaiters solved the problem. I think they would be great for anyone who does not want to give up comfort, for boot protection. Now you can make boots out of any shoes. They are used but in very good condition. Czech Army rugged, 6 inches if protection. You get a pair for 10.95 and 3.25 shipping.These Gaiters are very much like the ones the German Army wore in WW2. The Czech canvas is a heavier grade. Their is a leather reinforcement at the front and back of each gaiter.
