Original Pravetz 8D computer from 1987. Fully operational. In an excellent condition.

Pravetz were the first Bulgarian
computers, manufactured mainly in the town of Pravetz. Bulgaria began to export most of its production to countries of COMECON and the USSR in particular. Biggest reach peak production when Bulgaria produces 40% of computers used in the countries of the socialist block (60 000 computers per year) at that time for the electronics industry involved over 300,000 workers and produced goods worth $ 13.3 billion / year (8 billion rubles).

Pravetz 8D is 8 bit home computer, uses TV instead of computer monitor. Pravetz 8D hardware and software is compatible with computers Oric-1 and Oric Atmos, developed by British company Tangerine Computer Systems (later Oric International).

Drives: The configuration of your computer using a cassette, but can be used floppy disk from Pravets 8. In 1991 was released a small series of floppy disk drives with integrated controller and power produced by "Pravetz" who worked with a slightly modified DOS 8D. Pravetz 8D can work with Microdrive devices Oric Atmos.
