A Drakes elegant handmade silk necktie.  If you're reading this, congratulations as you recognize quality over flash and substance over surface.  Michael Drake's tiemaking and accessory firm makes some of the finest ties in England and, in fact, the world, using silks from the best mills for a clientele including some of the most storied names on Jermyn Street and Savile Row as well as certain renowned Naples tiemakers, along with private label for some of the finest boutiques across the world, as with this tie. 

This tie was made in England by Drakes London, and features an incredible, eye-catching pattern of navy blue circles on a ground of heavy woven silvery-white faille.  As you can imagine, the weave and the pattern make the tie thick and soft to handle.  Sensuously tactile, lustrous and bold, this is a distinctive tie for a distinctive wearer.  This tie, rendered in luxuriously thick patterned silk so lush it is almost stiff, is a prime example of consummate creative luxury and elegance.

In keeping with the return to more masculine proportions, this tie is just under 4" at widest by approximately 58" long. This item is used but in excellent condition.  

Please note that this tie was made by Drakes as a private label commission and that it thus bears the label of the boutique which commissioned it (as pictured in the last photo), while being made to Drakes' usual standards of quality and handwork. I guarantee the authenticity of this tie and that it was made by Drake's.
