Returns
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order to our warehouse for a Money Back Refund within 30 days of your purchase. We believe that in order to have the best possible eBay shopping experience, returns should be easy. So, if for whatever reason you're not happy with your purchase, just go through the new, easy, self-service eBay Return Process (via My eBay) to initiate a return.
With Plumbing Planet's return policy, there are no special catches or exceptions. All we ask is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same condition.
- You can return your purchase for up to 30 days from the purchase date.
- Products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging, unused and uninstalled.
- Return shipping cost is the buyer's responsibility.
- Any item returned will be charged a 15% restocking fee, however...
- If an item is defective, was misrepresented in it's description, was the wrong item received due to a Plumbing Planet error, or was damaged in transit, a restocking fee will not be charged. Instead, a Pre-Paid Return Shipping Label will be sent to the e-mail address stored on account and we will cover the return shipping cost.
Once your return is received and inspected by our fulfillment center (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit (less any restocking fee) will be automatically applied to your PayPal account.
Products Damaged in Shipment
Although we take every measure to ensure your purchase arrives in good condition, some fragile items such as Air Filters may get damaged in transit. If this is the case, please contact us via eBay Messaging System and kindly inform us of the situation within 30 days of receiving your item. We will e-mail you a Pre-Paid UPS Return Shipping Label to the e-mail address stored on account and, at your choosing, either replace or refund the item cost to you.
Manufacturer Defective Products
Products that are determined to be defective by manufacturer defect can be replaced within 1 year of receiving the item. If this is the case, please contact us via eBay Messaging System and kindly inform us of the situation. We will e-mail you a Pre-Paid UPS Return Shipping Label to the e-mail address stored on account and, at your choosing, either replace or refund the item cost to you.
Non-Returnable Items
Some items may not be returned, unless they are defective or damaged. These items, and the reason why they can not be returned, are listed below:
- Toilette Seats: For sanitation purposes, toilette seats may not be returned.
- Tools: Once they have been used, tools can not be resold. This includes crimpers, pipe cutters, curb keys, torches, etc.
- Special Orders: Special orders may not be returned due to the "specialness" of the order unless the item is defective or damaged.
- Electrical Components: Due to the nature of these products, just like DVD's or Video Games, electrical components may not be returned once they have been opened.
- Products that have been Installed: Plumbing Planet only sells 'New' items and once an item is installed, it becomes a 'Used' item. We can not accept returned items that have been used.
If you find yourself with a product that you no longer need, but it can not be returned, allow us to suggest you resell it on eBay. After all, if we can sell it on eBay, so can you! Please contact us if you are not certain if your item can be returned or not.
