Murano Faceted Purple & Blue Sommerso Glass Block Vase
Description
Here is a wonderful Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This style of glassware is usually attributed to Mandruzzato, although other manufacturers have made similar items, including Oball, Campanella and V. Nason. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in a band of blue glass, which is further encased in an angular block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian Sommerso technique. A fabulous item, in a wonderful faceted, geometric shape, it catches the light beautifully. Would make an excellent display piece.

Variety | |
We have, at least as far as I am aware, the largest wide ranging selection of antique + collectable glassware in the world available in our online shop, spanning at the last count, 74 glass manufacturers from over 10 different countries! We usually have just short of a thousand pieces of glassware in stock, with plenty of choices to suit all tastes and budgets.

Postage & Packaging | |
The number one concern for anyone buying antique + collectable glassware online has to be fear of their item being damaged during transit. To put your mind at ease, at the time of writing this, we have been dealing solely in glass for 8 years, and post approximately 1000 items of glass a year, all around the world. In that time I'm proud to say we've only had a total of 2 breakages, which I think is pretty good going. Also, in the unlikely event of a breakage or loss, we do accept responsibility, and a full refund will be made.
Refund Policy | |
We have a no quibble refund policy on all our items, so if you change your mind for any reason, you can return your purchase for a full refund of the item price. If we make a serious error in our description (such as missing chips or cracks), shipping costs will also be refunded. |
