Description:

This Lithium iron phosphate battery protection PCB protect 16 cells Lithium iron phosphate (48V). 40A continous current. Suitable for electric drills, motors, or aircraft models which require heavy current load.

The PCB support Cell balancing features to prevent cell to cell variation. Balancing current is 80mA at 3.7V.
This New version of PCB has LED to indicate which cell has been fully charged and balancing is in action

Lithium iron phosphate LiPO4 protection is necessary, as the battery will be damaged when they are over discharged or overcharged

After Lithium iron phosphate is connected to the PCB, the board protect individual batteries from:

1. Over charging - Disconnect circuit when either battery is over 3.75V
2. Over discharging - Disconnect circuit when either battery is lower than 2.0V
3. Short curcuit protection - Disconnect when short circuit is detected

Connection:

Method 1: Both Charge and Discharge using same wire: Connect to C-
Method 2: Seperate Discharge and Charge: C- for charge, D- for discharge

Procedure:
1. Connect your 16 cells in series (cells should be identical) (or for 32 cells: 2cells parallel, 16 cells in series) etc.
2. Then connect the batteries to the PCB according to the picture above.
3. Activate the circuit by charging using Constant current/Constant voltage charger.
