These RCA Consumer Electronics SJT-series Selectavision videodisc players are great finds - if they're in full working/maintained condition. Like many, this one powers on but there's motor whirring noise; the startup sequence or loader isn't activating. Unsure if it's mechanical, electronic (capacitors?), or a combo of both. Generally you want to have two of these things for parts; you can get one good working unit with parts from both. I'd recommend a recap of the power supply, too. This is a heavy deck from 1982-83, over 20 lbs. You'll get the original manual along with three used movies on capacative disc: Swing Shift, That's Entertainment, and Jailhouse Rock (Elvis!)
