A nice looking, but not completed 1955 Packard Clipper Deluxe project.  We've had this car for about 5 years and worked on it on and off.  When we got it, the rear window was missing, and it took quite a while to find one.  Before we got it, it got pretty wet inside sitting with the window missing, so the rear seat and door panels are in very poor condition.  The front door panels and seat are OK but need restoration.  We cleaned the motor up and it runs well, and the  engine compartment is clean, but the radiator needs to be re-cored.  The frame is straight and free of any serious rust, and the drive train appears to work fine, but with no radiator, it's tough to test how it drives.  The chrome is generally pitted, although some could work on a daily driver.  The stainless trim is pretty good.  A few trim pieces are missing.  lenses show cracking and probably need replacement.  Odometer reads 31,483, but I'd be surprised if it hasn't turned over once or twice in almost 60 years!  The car comes with a spare windshield...a used one we picked up when we got the rear window.  This provides a Packard fan with great start toward a restoration with most body work done and things looking straight and workable.  This is a no-reserve auction...we have too many project cars and want to make some room.  The car is currently located in Middleburgh, NY, about 40 miles or so from Albany New York.  Buyer must pay a PayPal deposit in the amount of $250 within 5 days of the end of this auction, and the buyer will be responsible for either pick-up or arranging for pick-up and transporting by another carrier.  Payment of the balance of the amount due must be made by certified check or cash at the time of, or prior to, pick up of the car.
