Up for consideration is a 2004/5 Fender Precision '51 Reissue / Crafted in Japan, and aftermarket case -- a modern recreation of the classic 1951 Fender Precisision, without the high vintage price tag. This bass is in near-mint condition, and looks terrific with the Butterscotch Blonde finish, and plays and sounds great with no issues. This is a great all-rounder bass that can be used for a variety of styles. The single coil pickup is punchy with excellent cut and bite, and sits well in a mix. The '51 Reissue CIJ is now discontinued, and here is an excellent opportunity to get one in almost-new condition, in a no-reserve, $1 auction!!!

CLASSIC FENDER PBASS SOUND
Precision '51 CIJ Reissues have that great Fender Precision character and tone that has become famous over the last 60 years, and is still a great bass to this day. The Crafted in Japan line is well-built, and buying it used gives you a great, low-cost entry-point for owning this classic, iconic Fender bass. This paticular instrument has very low playing time on it, and is still in like-new, mint condition. It was used in a non-smoking teaching studio, and not gigged with. As with many instrument designs, the first Fender bass introduced in 1951 may well be the best bass they ever produced, and here is a great way to own one at a big discount.
