Large appliances or electricals are delivered by our KNOWHOW™ delivery teams.

 

Delivery locations

We deliver within the UK only. This includes the Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Man.

We do not accept orders to PO Box addresses and International orders, including those from the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Orders for large domestic appliances are accepted to all mainland UK addresses (including Northern Ireland) and the following islands: Isle of Sky, Isle of Sheppey, Angelsey and the Isle of Wight. This excludes the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and BFPO.

 

Delivery - Large Domestic Appliances & Large Screen TV’s

Large products such as cookers, fridge/freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, plasma TVs, and some large screen TVs are generally delivered by our KNOWHOW™ delivery teams.

You can choose an Economy, a Standard, or an Express delivery. See below for details.

 

Economy Delivery - Free

A FREE, all-day delivery option on all of our orders if you are happy to wait to receive your product through our standard delivery methods.

Customers will be contacted in 3-5 working days* of placing their order by an Outlet customer service advisor to arrange a delivery date.

*Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm; excluding bank holidays.

 

Standard Delivery - £16.00

Our Standard delivery option provides an all-day delivery slot, in 2-3 working days* if you place your order before 3pm, Mon-Fri.

Customers will be contacted in 1-2 working days* by an Outlet customer service advisor to arrange a delivery date.

Orders placed after 3pm on Friday's will not be processed until the following working day*

Express Delivery - £22.00

Express delivery allows customers to select a day* and a 4-hour time slot** for delivery (subject to availability). We deliver 7 days a week usually between 7am & 8pm (service may vary in some outlying areas of the UK).

Express delivery is only available on purchases of selected large products such as cookers, fridge/freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, plasma TVs, and some large screen TVs, and are generally delivered by our KnowHow™ delivery teams.

Simply choose Express delivery at the checkout, and an Outlet customer service advisor will contact you within 1 working day (Mon-Fri, 9-5) to arrange a day and time for your delivery.

Orders placed after 3pm on Friday's will not be processed until the following working day***

Can I change delivery address or method?

Customers are strongly advised to ensure the delivery name and address details are complete and correct at the point of purchase

Collections direct from our warehouse are not available.

 

What happens if I'm not home when delivery is attempted?

If you are not home to sign for delivery, the courier will leave a card to advise that delivery has been attempted. To re-arrange delivery, please follow the instructions on the card.

 

Christmas, Easter & Bank Holiday deliveries

These are busy periods for retailers and the postal services. We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section, but please allow 7-10 working days for despatch and delivery during these periods.

Returns

All returns must be authorised

In all cases, please contact us to obtain a return authorisation, a label and instructions on how to return the purchase

All authorised returns are free.

 

Faulty Products

We do not stock spare parts, and are unable to send replacement parts.

We cannot offer a repair service on Outlet products.

Currys/PC World Outlet provides a warranty on faulty products as detailed below. All warranty periods are applicable from the date of payment.

Products sold as "New" - 12 month warranty

Products sold as Grade A "Refurbished" - 12 month warranty

Products sold as Grade B "Refurbished" - 6 month warranty

Products sold as "Used" - 3 month warranty

All computing components/spares sold as "Reburbished" - 3 month warranty

If your item develops a fault within the applicable warranty period, a full refund will be offered, once the product has been returned to the Outlet team.

To qualify for a refund the product must be:

- in the same condition as supplied to you
- complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it
- if possible, with the original box and packaging

The above warranties do not cover non-faulty products, nor issues caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

If a product is returned as faulty but found not to have a manufacturing fault or if a fault has developed as a result of accident, neglect or misuse, no costs will be refunded.

Serial numbers of all parts and products will be verified against the returned item/s. If the serial number/s of the returned item/s are found not to correspond with the original serial number/s, no costs will be refunded.

Any form of investigation, intervention or repair undertaken on your purchase by any party other than Dixons Retail plc will result in the invalidation of the applicable product warranty, and a return will not be accepted and no costs will be refunded.

All warranties are non-transferrable.

 

Repairs

Dixons Retail plc cannot offer a repair service on any Outlet products.

A repair via the product manufacturer may be available, depending upon the nature and terms of any manufacturer warranty with the product.

We are unable to confirm what manufacturer warranty is contained within Outlet products, nor whether the manufacturer will honour any guarantees.

 

Exchanges

If your purchase develops a fault within the applicable warranty period, we may offer an exchange for the same, or a similar product, depending on our current Outlet stock. If we don’t have stock available for an exchange, an exchange will not be available to you.

An Outlet store sells end-of-line products, so our stock is limited and we may not have a direct replacement available for an exchange.

All exchanges are at the discretion of Currys/PC World Outlet.

The exchange of CD's, DVD's and computer software may be restricted to the same product.

If a product is returned as faulty but found not to have a manufacturing fault or if a fault has developed as a result of accident, neglect or misuse, no exchange will be provided, and no costs will be refunded.

Serial numbers of all parts and products will be verified against the returned item/s. If the serial number/s of the returned item/s are found not to correspond with the original serial number/s, no exchange will be provided, and no costs will be refunded.

Non-faulty returns / Cancellations

If you change your mind, and wish to return your order, you must notify us of the same within 14 calendar days of the date of delivery. Unwanted returns are not accepted after this period.

To qualify for a refund, unwanted products must be:

- in an ‘as new’ condition
- unused, without installation or data input
- in the same condition as supplied to you
- complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it
- with the original box and packaging

Unwanted products cannot be accepted after 14 days if any of the above criteria are not met.

The right of cancellation does not apply to:

- The seal has been broken on any DVDs, CDs, memory cards or software, including games, or on any personal hygiene products such as shavers
- If you want to return a Software Product Activation Key card which is not faulty, the silver strip on the back of the card must be fully intact as new

If a product is returned as unwanted, but the above conditions are not met, no costs will be refunded.

Serial numbers of all parts and products will be verified against the returned item/s. If the serial number/s of the returned item/s are found not to correspond with the original serial number/s, no costs will be refunded.

Refunds

Your Paypal account will be refunded once we have received your return.

In all cases, goods must be received before refunds are given.

We’ll email you once the item is received by our warehouse.

You can expect your refund to be processed within 48 hours of us confirming we have received the item. You will receive an email confirming your return has been received and a refund has been processed.

Express delivery costs will only be refunded if you notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery:

- you received an incorrect item
- you received a damaged item
- you received a faulty item

Please note that it can take up to 5 days for a refund to appear in your PayPal account.

 

Can I send the item back myself?

All returns must be authorised, and sent via the process set out in our returns procedure..

In all cases, please contact us to obtain a return authorisation, parcel label and instructions on how to return the purchase.

Dixons Retail plc will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or costs incurred by the customer if our returns procedure is not adhered to fully.

 

Can a Currys or PC World retail store help?

About our Products

What does “NEW” mean?

"New" means there is an intact manufacturer's seal, and the item is brand new and pristine. We do not open sealed products.

Some manufacturers don't put a seal on their product boxes but these are still brand new, pristine, and will be listed as "New".

 

What does “NEW OTHER” mean?

When an item is listed as "New Other" it means the product is new and unused, with absolutely no signs of wear.

Products listed as “New Other” may have sealed boxes that simply have damage to the outer box, such as tears, dents, compression damage or signs of wear/ageing. The product within the box will be unused, new and pristine.

Some ”New Other” products may have been opened simply for inspection and so are no longer sealed and/or may have damage to the outer box, such as tears, dents, compression damage or signs of wear/ageing.The product within the box will be unused, new and pristine.

 

What does “USED” mean?

A product is listed as "Used" or "Unsealed" when the manufacturers seal on the product box has been broken.

“Used” products may have minor wear or damage to the box, such as small tears, minor edge depressions or appear a little aged. The product itself may be pristine or have only very minor signs of handling or use, which do not affect the functionality of the product.

“Used” items may be aged stock, ex-display from a retail store, or an unwanted, opened product returned by a customer.

All unsealed, "Used" products are visually inspected and will be deemed saleable. If the product has particularly heavy damage to the box or missing parts, this will be stated in the product listing.

If a product listing states "Heavy box damage", this means the product box will have more significant damage, such as crushing, holes, tears, rips or more prominent label damage. The product within the box will have been deemed undamaged and saleable.

 

What does “REFURBISHED” mean?

"Refurbished" means the product has been pre-owned and undergone a process of mechanical repair, reworking and/or parts replacement, to restore the unit to full working order.

Currys PC World Outlet is unable to confirm the precise history or nature of the refurbishment of each product, however each product has been wiped, reinstalled and professionally checked and tested.

Refurbished products are supplied in plain packaging, not the original manufacturer packaging and do not contain the manufacturers manual / user guide.

The cosmetic condition of our “Refurbished” products is detailed in the product listing, and will be graded A or B. For further details, please refer to individual product listings, or see below for definitions.

 

What are GRADE A Refurbished products?

Grade A refurbished products may appear new or possess only very minor signs of handling or cosmetic wear, which do not affect the performance of the product.

Grade A refurbished products are fully operational & function as intended.

Refurbished products are supplied in plain packaging, not the original manufacturer packaging and do not contain the manufacturers manual / user guide.

Refurbished Desktop and All-in-One PC's will be supplied with a generic, non-original keyboard and mouse, where these are included with the product.

 

What are GRADE B Refurbished products?

Grade B refurbished products may be cosmetically challenged, with more noticeable flaws and cosmetic wear, including scratches, chips or other forms of cosmetic damage, which do not affect the performance of the unit

Grade B products may occasionally have missing, or non-original parts (eg. software, screw covers, rubber feet)

Grade B refurbished products are fully operational and function as intended

Refurbished products are supplied in plain packaging, not the original manufacturer packaging and do not contain the manufacturers manual / user guide.

Refurbished Desktop and All-in-One PC's will be supplied with a generic, non-original keyboard and mouse, where these are included with the product.
