Vintage Synth Rescue Cassette:
Roland Juno 106 - Original Factory Patches

This collection includes not only the original factory patches for the Roland Juno 106 but a few other banks I have found useful. You can use them to reset your synthesizer after the Lithium battery has died, or you can try them out to see what other goodies your synth has locked inside.

I have been an eBay preferred seller since 2001 and this is my new account. I have shipped CD-ROMs and data cassette tapes to over 70 countries, keeping vintage synthesizers in playable condition, bringing music across the globe. I now sell CDs, cassette tapes, DVDs, and downloads exclusively through Ebay.

I have created PDF documentation on how to use the tools on this CD to reload your sounds (not included). Additionally, I provide technical support via email, IM, and Skype. Please do not send technical questions about how to use these products through the eBay messaging system, because Ebay limits our messages.

[This cassette does NOT contain copyrighted sounds from other commercial developers.]

FAQ: Real questions and answers based on emails about this item.

Q. Can this tape help me to recover my Roland Juno 106 after the internal lithium battery dies?
A. Yes!

Q. Will this tape work with my Roland Juno 60 or Roland Alpha Juno 1?
A. No. They're quite different. I recommend my vintage synth rescue tapes for those specific models, although they only have the factory sounds.

Q. How do I use this with my  Roland Juno 106 ?
A. Roland's manual should explain. It's pretty simple.
1) attach cassette deck to your Roland Juno 106 with a cable (available on Ebay or at Radio Shack).
2) set tape interface to "enable".
3) click "load"
4) play cassette.

Q) Do I get a free synthesizer along with this cassette?
A) NO! This is just a cassette with program data for this model synthesizer. But since most people buy a new synth to get new sounds, you can pump more life into your vintage gear by purchasing the collection of sound data that is available on this cd.

Q) How do I get these sounds into my (other make) synthesizer?
A) It cannot be done! These sounds are not samples or WAV files, but instead the settings files which provide programming information that must be loaded into specific synthesizer models.

Q) How did you get so smart with synthesizers?
A) I've been using them since 1985, and they're my life's passion.

Q) Do you have demos that we can hear?
A) There are no demo audio files yet, but I plan to make a series of sample cd's based on some of the sounds contained in this data. Check back here to hear the results

Q) How do I get this to work on my computer?
A) There should be instructions for the Roland Juno 106 data transfer process in the manual. If not, I can try helping you via email.

Q) Your cassette Rocks! I spent hundreds of dollars on commercial patches that aren't as good.
A) Thanks. I didn't get a high thumbs-up rating on Ebay by just waiting for success to happen.
