Why buy a professional hot stone heater? The most powerful reason for using a professional stone heater is the thermostat. This ensures that the temperature cannot rise above 78 °C. Heaters that aren't specifically designed for heating hot stones don't have this safety mechanism, meaning that there is greater risk of stones being accidentally heated to unsafe temperatures (which may also invalidate any practice insurance you have).

We do not provide instruction in hot stone massage. You should attend a reputable course in hot stone massage, or, if you are an experienced massage therapist, you should read widely and make sure that you are aware of all contra-indications for hot stone massage.
