KING KONG vs. GODZILLA (1962)
King Kong vs. Godzilla is a 1962 Kaiju film
produced by Toho, and the third installment in the Godzilla series as well as
the Showa series.
The film was released to Japanese theaters on
August 11, 1962, and to American theaters on June 26th, 1963. Then Toho re-released the film for "Toho Champion Matsuri (or festival)" for kids during the summer vacation in 1977.
This poster is a scene King Kong and Godzilla fight each other at Atami Castle, near Tokyo, issued in 1977.
Japanese comment at the bottom says that, "At that time, Godzilla
waking up from hibernation under the Arctic Ocean Ice came back to Japan by homing instinct. So the 'Devil' King
Kong was confronted to quench the raging Godzilla"

in Japan in 1977. It's very rare poster.
