eBay
Up for sale is a reproduction, (in detail) of a Spanish American U.S. Marine Uniform. This listing deals with the Tunic/Coat, and Trousers only. The rest the uniform is listed else where on ebay.  I sent Jeff O'Donell at the Qutermaster Shop a complete atributed m-1892 uniform that was once worn by Corperal Timothy Snyder U.S.M.C. serving on the U.S.W.S. Boston .  "Corperal Tim" 's photograph is seen along with his uniform, and is dated "spring 1900 ". In August of that year he was sent to China Peking Legations to relive the Marine embasy guard that had distingused itself during the Boxer Rebelion.  Picture #2 is the original uniform, while picture #3 is the reproduction. There was no expence held back when making this uniform, and Jeff team did a beautiful job ! All buttons , and the Marine Corp Cheverons are original, can't get repros anyway. Stricted attention to cut and fit was given during construction. I am seen in the photographs wearing the uniform during a photo shoot for John Langellier's resent book, "US Armed Forces in China 1856-1941". I was his "model" for this time period, ( and I owned a Winchester Lee, the real reason my pal, John included me in this work).  The uniform coat is a size 44R, and pants have a 29" inseam, with a 36" waist.  If you have ANY questions, or wish to see more pictures, please don't hesatate to ask. I want to give picture credit to Kristen Densmore of the Sharlott Hall Museum for the use of the three pictures of me in this uniform.  Thank You for looking !    Jack Stewart   P.S. I have been giving donations to the Olympia in Phil. Pennsylania, so what the heck! I will donate a % of the sale of this uniform to her cause.  May God Always Bless our sons and daughters serving/keeping our freedom, may we be deserving of it.
