1907 MOTHER GOOSE'S TEDDY BEARS, 34 COLOR ART after STEIFF BEARS, FIRST PRINTING
VERY RARE EARLY TEDDY BEAR TITLE, written & illustrated by Frederick L. Cavally, Jr., Published by BOBBS-MERRILL, 1907 FIRST EDITION / FIRST PRINTING!!
GOOD+ / VERY GOOD+
Unpaginated, with over 60 pages with 34 FULL PAGE COLOR ILLUSTRATIONS opposite a page of verse. The Bears playing the characters opposite the nursery rhymes are imaged/modeled after ACTUAL STEIFF Teddy Bears!!
Book has moderate wear, solid spine cloth with Full Title, some staining, slight scuffing to great front paste-on illustration.
It is Complete, having ALL 34 COLOR ILLUSTRATIONS, with some pulling, slight tearing at the bottom spine edge of a few pages...none into the illustrations! Binder is shaken, with some sections starting to pull, but no loose pages!
All in all a Good / Very Good Example of a book that Rarely Survived at all!!
