Words: Andrew B. Sterling, Music: Howard & Emerson
Coons May Sing, praises ring, All about the gals they love,
I know one takes the bun, She's a little turtle dove.
Her name's Sal, she's my gal, That nobody can deny'
And if you seen this little choc'late cream
You'd smack your lips and say, "O my!" Ah!
No-one knows how much I love my Sally!
She's the reigning Queen of Charcoal Alley!
The coons all get in line to worship at her shrine,
They idolize this choc'late blonde.
