These are mini plug plants of Papaver orientale - POPPY ''ALLEGRO'. This is a long-lasting hardy perennial and Papaver 'ALLEGRO' produces beautiful, luxurious velvety flowers blooming simultaneously. Grows to a height of approximately 18" and will make a very colourful display in borders and large containers from May - September.

The enchanting large flowers are wind and rain resistant, standing above strong compact plants.

These mini plug plants are ready to pot up into 9 cm pots and grown on and planted out into final flowering positions when larger. Keep moist until established and protect from slugs and marauding blackbirds. Prefers a position in full or half sun.
