"Released in November 2009 and limited to 5,976 bottles, Earl Magnus is a 15 year old Highland Park with the addition of some casks from the early 1990s to add even greater depth and a firmer structure. It takes its name from the most famous of the Viking Earls of Orkney in whose memory the stunning cathedral in Kirkwall was built (less than a mile from the distillery). The open wooden gift box allows full appreciation of the bespoke bottle."

The long awaited and very sold-out 3rd and final release in Highland Park's Earl Magnus series. Named for Magnus's cousin Haakon who ruled jointly with him until 1114 when they fell out and Magnus was executed. The whisky is a wonderful cask strength 18 year old Highland Park.
