This is my Vw Beetle, 38 years old ! . I bought it some time ago , It was in a salvage yard ready to be broken for spares ! . All the welding has been done , to a high standard by a well known  local VW specialist . It is very original ,I have the original Keys .  it came of the road september 1988 and i was told it had sat in a garage all that time . New parts included are , front calipers , rear brakes , genuine headlamps ,running boards (German ) , top mounts , etc . The interior is outstanding , with no rips or or defects  . the  door cards are perfect never been cut for door speakers . the rear shelf has some discolouring due to sun light .  The engine is original but out of the car  and is stripped as there was no compression  on 1 and 2 . The car will need to be towed or preferably put on a trailer  . There is a reserve on the car  . I will require a deposit to show a genuine intension of buying the car . I will accept a cheque, the car will be released once payment has cleared ,or cash on collection .

Only the heads on the engine have been removed , the barrels / pistons and block are intact .The engine had no oil leaks ,   Heads are ok with no cracks , valves are removed ready for new valve guides .

I thought some extra pictures would help .  One showing the last tax disc issued , the tax disc holder looks to be the original from VW Colindale in north London !   Its possible the reg plate may be of interest to someone.
