The nutrient LB broth (20 grams) includes:

Yeast Extract                             5grams
Tryptone/ Peptone                     10grams
Sodium Chloride                       5grams

Just add 1000ml tap water, mix well, then autoclave it at 121C for 20 to 30min. If you are growing your bacteria under certain antibiotics you don't have to autoclave it, just boil it with microwave, let it cool down, add antibiotics, then inoculate your bacteria to the LB liquid.

When you add 12 to 15 grams of agar (not provided) into it, then you can make LB plates. This LB broth plus agar is enough for 50x dishes (90x15mm, 20ml/dishes), or more when you use 35mm and 60mm petri dishes.
