Back in 2011, the Armourer made 4 of these fantastic pieces for us.  We sold them within a few months to Buyers in UK, Asia, and USA.  We quickly commissioned another 4 and waited 2 years for them!  All 4 sold this year.  The Armourer had made a 5th Skull for display in his showroom.  This is it.  We persuaded him to let it go and...here it is!  It will not hang around very long, so grab it now!

Your Skull has been hand-made in an English Armoury and is therefore unique.  Weighing in at a heavy 6.5 kg, and with a height of approx 6” / 15cm, this stunning creation has been hand-made from blackened Solid Bronze.  Cast from a real human skull, it is life size.  The skull and jawbone are 2 separate, interlocking components.  The lower jawbone is hinged at the temporomandibular joint and hangs from the upper jaw.

You are getting a totally unique Item of exceptional quality.  Hand-crafted in a British armoury by a highly-skilled, time-served artisan, your item is a truly remarkable piece of art!

The entirely manual production of this incredibly intricate skull took the armourer 5 full days, 10 hrs each day.  Its retail value is £1450 GBP.  You will not see anything of this quality elsewhere.

The Armoury that made your item also makes swords on personal commission for Royalty and the famous.  It custom-makes items to order for discerning collectors worldwide and has a very long waiting list.  It is the supplier to the Royal Armouries’ National Museum of Arms and Armour.  It also designs and makes unique sculptures for world-famous musicians.  Such is its quality and craftsmanship that sums in excess of £20 000 GBP are commanded for its work.

Manufacturing Process – Solid Bronze Skull.  The Armoury hand carved an original wax master of the skull in 2 sections (skull and jawbone).  These were then lost wax cast in Solid Bronze.  Once set, the skull was carefully finished by hand, removing any small imperfections in the casting.  The skull was then ‘patinated’, ie, blackened, and finally waxed.  Finally, the Armoury logo was fixed to the underside.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

Your piece of art comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA), originating from the artisan who made it.  As a legitimate CoA, it contains specific details about the art, such as when and how it was produced, the art's exact title and dimensions and it also includes his or her complete and current contact information.
