Selling my VW Lupo - as spares or repair.

I was going to repair this car, but have lost the use of the garage where it was stored and being worked on. I know I'll never get is completed now, so would like to sell it.

This is a 1.4 S - the 1.4 16v DOHC engine and car in the higher spec form with central locking, electric windows etc.

The car has unrecorded damage - the front drivers corner was bent when I bought it - I have replaced front wing, bonnet, front radiator panel, inner front bumper and drivers headlight - all with original VW parts, including the wing and bonnet in original colour paint. I am also including an original VW front bumper in the sale, again in original colour, but this is not fitted.

The damage was to panels only - frame rails were untouched and they remain perfectly aligned. The suspension was untouched. Airbags were not deployed.

Work needed to complete the front is - front drivers side inner plastic wing, work to straighten the inner steel wing, charcoal filter mounting front indicator panel, grille.

There is an issue with the engine. It fires and runs - but once warmed up the oil light comes on and the engine is quite noisy - suspected bearing problem.

There is an issue with the clutch - it does not engage well, and this has an effect on gear selection. At the moment, reverse gear cannot be selected.

I have the original papers for the car, V5 and 2x original keys.

So, the core of the car is pretty sound. The body and underframe, apart from items detailed above, is pretty straight and without rust. The interior is complete and in reasonable condition. Of course there is wear and tear as you'd expect in a car of this age.

To be clear, though it runs, this car cannot be driven away.

I'm sure this can be fixed up by someone with the right knowledge and intent, it would seem a shame to scap it. Or there's loads of useful parts for someone.
