First released on the 22nd November 1963, this is the first pressing **mono** version of The Beatles second UK Album release, With The Beatles, on the Black and Yellow Parlophone label.
Both record labels have the ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Made in Gt Britain’ label text, recording first published 1963 to both record labels.
This album is the very 1st Pressing, with the **JOBETE** publishing credit for the song Money, additionally the song You Really Got a Hold on Me is printed as You Really **Gotta** Hold on Me, this error is also printed on the track listing on the reverse of the sleeve.
Both record label are in superb Excellent Plus condition, very clean labels with no fading to the Yellow and Silver printed text, showing only a few light centre spindle lines .
The side 1 matrix is: XEX 447-1N and side 2: XEX 448-1N.
Side 1 stampers: 2 M and side 2: 3 GM
There is an embossed KT Tax code visible on the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the Heavy quality vinyl disc are in superb Excellent Plus condition, beautiful glossy undamaged vinyl surfaces with no more than a few light surface hairline scratches visible.
Audio Quality:
The album plays superb throughout the tracks, a beautiful powerful clear early mono sound quality, with only mild background crackle.
The LP comes in its ORIGINAL ‘Use Emitex’ Poly lined Inner bag which is in Excellent condition, NO seam splits or handwriting, just some mild creasing.
…And is protected in it’s original front Laminated Ernest j. Day & Co Ltd. London three flip back sleeve, with large 'mono’ printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.
The sleeve is in superb Excellent Plus condition, it is firm and strong with a very glossy front panel showing the mild record storage, all edges are undamaged with just mild corner bumps, the reverse panel of the sleeve is in very clean Excellent condition with mild handling signs at the opening edge, and a small stain at the top, also the previous owners name, all three flipbacks are undamaged, and the spine edge wording is clearly legible.
