Here we have a ThinkPad T43 in mint condition, as an enthusiast of ThinkPads myself I have yet to see a T43 in similar condition, it has to be one of the nicest T43's to be sold on eBay in fact!
It's not just a pretty face, though, it comes packed with the highest specification available for T43 series of laptops, more on that later.
This particular one has the rare Flexview/IPS display, which is in flawless condition, not a scratch or blemish in sight.
Every part of the laptop works just fine, even the battery manages to hold a full charge which lasts approximately 2½ hours, unfortunately, there is just one flaw to this laptop; the status lights at the bottom of the screen do not light up (with the exception of the Wi-Fi light) I have been unable to determine the cause of this and therefor could not fix it.

So, what have I done to refurbish it? Well, lets begin, shall we?
Firstly, the laptop was sanitized and stripped down, it was then meticulously cleaned of every speck of dust and dirt inside, the processor was then upgraded from the original Pentium M 750 1.86GHz to a Pentium M 780 2.26GHz and re-pasted with Artic Silver 5 for the best thermal performance.
Then, the laptop was re-assembled, and the entire exterior was cleaned up to pristine condition. The BIOS was updated to the latest version (1.29) as well as the embedded controller (1.06).
I then re-installed the factory install of the operating system (Windows XP Professional) and fully updated it as well as all of the IBM software and drivers. Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise is also included free-of-charge. The hard drive has been fully de-fragmented to squeeze the very best performance out of this machine.
