eBay
I am relisting my Norton due to a deadbeat winning bidder so up for auction is a numbers matching 1968 Norton P-11A.  I am the second owner of this bike.  I purchased it in September of 1975.  This past winter I did a complete and total restoration on the entire bike.  Every nut and bolt was removed and polished.  I polished the engine and trans. cases as well as the hubs, as you can see in the photos.  The engine was within specs for piston clearance with only 3675 Mi. on the clock but I had it bored .020" over and installed 10-1 Hepolite pistons for good measure.  This bike is still using the original ignition system, I purchased a Boyer unit with coils but decided to keep it stock for reasons of showing the bike.  Frame, swing arm, fender braces, headlight shell, instrument plate and more have been powder coated.  The tanks and battery cover have been professionally painted with candy apple red paint and 'D' stripes to Norton specs.  The list of new items is too numerous to list.   The bike has been tuned by our local British bike expert here in southeast Michigan, Brian Sims of Manx Motors.  It starts usually on the first kick (not a wimpy one) and without a battery!  It is VERY fast and pulls like a Norton should. This is a 46 year old motorcycle so no warranty is implied, you are buying it "as is".  I recommend you look the bike over personally if possible for your own satisfaction.  The bike is for sale locally so the listing may come down before it ends.  Check my seller feedback score and bid with confidence.  Contact me with any questions.
