Here is a 2008 Mercury Sea Pro 15hp 2stroke. This is quite a rare find being the 'Sea Pro' version of the mercury mariner 15hp outboard,which has a slightly modified carb with bigger jets to allow easy all day idling on poor quality fuel for commercial users, as well as a stainless steel water pump and gearing http://www.mercury-marine.eu/mercury/en/Products/Products.aspx?Model=SeaPro%2015 , also its a very very recent 2008 model. I am not very familiar with this engine as it came with a boat I bought last year in summer. Already owning a super light 9.8hp two stroke I didnt need this engine but the seller of the boat was not willing to split so I ended up with it with the view to selling it summer 2015,but to be honest I could do with it out of the garage. I have ran the engine up and it starts easily and pumps water well and engages forward and reverse fine . Cosmetically it is fairly well used and displays the usual scratches and scrapes I certainly wouldn't describe it as mint but there is no rust and everything is nicely greased, the cav plate is drilled for doel fins . The prop looks very recent and is great condition. I have a video of it running which I can send to anyone interested ,cant seem to upload it on here. Im aware its winter and its bargain season for boat stuff but ive priced this engine accordingly , and I wont accept daft offers id sooner keep it till summer and sell then. If you wanted to buy this engine new, presuming you could even get one shipped from Europe it would set you back 2500, so I feel the price is fair. I would say get it professionally serviced at least though before taking to the water with it .
