This is a very fine antique 3-dimensional Point de Gaze and Duchesse lace fan. This combination of lace is also called Brussels Mixed since it mixes between needlelace and bobbin lace; its color is ivory. The fan is 9 inches long when folded and expands to 17 inches wide on display; the sticks are carved mother of pearl. The fan is in excellent condition for its age with no broken sticks or holes and is encased in a velvety and wooden frame. The frame measures 17" by 25". Serious bidders only please.
