It has a 24 pin connector and will work in all MDD PowerMacs. It's a genuine Apple power supply. It is interchangeable with Apple part # 614-0183 (AcBel model API1PC36, and Samsung model PSCF401601A).

Is this the right power supply for my MDD Mac?

Yes, although there are several makes and models of power supply, they are all 100% interchangeable. This power supply will work in any MDD PowerMac G4.

I have a 400W power supply, will a 360W work?

Yes, Apple used the 400W power supplies in early MDD Macs, but later replaced them with the quieter 360W version. A 360W power supply will have plenty of power for all MDD Macs, and will be quieter than the 400W.

Will a new power supply fix my Mac?

It's impossible to be sure without testing your old power supply, but most MDD failures are caused by the power supply. If the power supply doesn't fix the problem, simply return it within 90 days for a full refund (minus shipping).
