About the Artist
As a realist artist, I can spend days, weeks, or even months on a single painting. With oils, I often use a technique called glazing, which consists of many layers of oil paint applied thinly to the painting. Each layer must dry for several days before the next can be applied. While this technique is extremely time-consuming, it allows for a luminescent effect in the final painting, as light must pass through several translucent layers of oil, much like a stained glass window. I also do more direct painting, but even these take several layers and days of work, allowing for fine detail to be applied to the painting.

Because of this, I am able to start the bidding at a lower price than you might find in a gallery setting, and therefore offer my collectors high-quality artwork at reasonable prices. Shipping information
While every effort is made to package paintings well for shipping, unforeseen circumstances may occur during transit. Therefore, basic shipping insurance will be applied to every painting. Refunds cannot be given for damage or loss that basic insurance will not cover.
Returns are accepted within 14 days; however the painting *must* arrive back in its original condition for a refund to be given. Therefore, please package well and insure your return. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance.
Due to differences in computer monitors, the painting may vary in color or brightness. In addition, as this is an original work of art, surface variation will be present.
Payment information
Paintings will not be shipped until payment has cleared. All payments are due within 3 days of the close of the sale. If you have not been contacted by me or received shipment notification within 4 days of your purchase, *please* contact me via eBay's messaging center. I may not have received the initial notification of your purchase.
