eBay
This is VW 1303s, 1974, Tax Exempt 1600 Beetle.

We have owned this Beetle for 5 or so years now but unfortunately a few years ago we had to SORN the car.
The Beetle still runs now, I replaced the battery a year or so a go but have kept it on a battery conditioner and ran the Beetle up every now and then.

Here are some things that shoud be pointed out:
The brakes will need attention
The front wings will definitely need some work.
The drivers side seat belt broke when tiding up the car one and attempted to replace it but the replacement seat belt doesn't fit in the clip so will need to be sorted.
As you will see from the photos there's the usual signs of rust (as shown) there are signs of rust just inside the pasenger door.

A few years ago we had the drivers side hot air duct completely repaired, cost a fortune but is good and sound.

So many things to tell on the good side too interior is very good for age.
I think the best thing for you to do is to come and have a look and see what you think. I would prefer you to come and see everything as this is an old car and I would prefer you to know what you are getting.

Any questions then please don't hestitate to ask.

Thanks

Please, no time wasters, come and see before you bid as to bid is to buy the vehicle. You will either need to tow it home or use a trailer.

Update:
A very kind person on Ebay suggested that our Beetle was in fact a "Big Beetle special edition". We then checked the Special Editions website http://www.sebeetles.com, as he suggested, to see if in deed it was and found that the VIN was within the Big Beetle special edition VIN range 134 2000 001 - 134 2356 316. So it is a what they call a "Big Beetle" which
includes padded steering wheel , 5 1/2" sports wheels, wood grain dash, molded carpets and numerous other things.

Hi everyone, someone asked if I could take some detailed photos of the underside of the doors and body of the car, I've done this but also added a couple more of the inside of the car and so I thought I'd share them with everyone. Here is the link to the photos:

I gave it a go and worked for me so give it a go and take a look.
