According to my research, this seems to be the only SAAB 92B currently availabe for sale worldwide!

Wissenswertes zu diesem 1953er SAAB 92B De Luxe
Anfang 2014 In Schweden „blind“ erworben!

  • 4x Bremsen komplett: Beläge,  Bremszylinder, Federn, Halter etc.
  • alle Scheibengummis
  • Scheibenwischerachsen und –gestänge
  • Bosch-Zündschloss
  • Zündkerzen
  • 6V Batterie Bosch
  • Verkabelung komplett (Bosch-Oldtimer-Service)
  • KING-Benzinfilter mit Druckregelung
  • Scheinwerfer & Leuchtmittel
  • Gebläsebalg, zwischen Kühler, Gebläse, Lüftungsklappe
  • Lackierarbeiten an der Karosse
  • Lackierarbeiten an den Aggregaten im Motorraum

  • Das wurde ÜBERHOLT:

  • Unterbrecherplatte komplett neu bestückt (Bosch-Oldtimer-Service)
  • Kühler komplett überholt, gereinigt
  • Vergaser komplett überholt
  • Alle 5 Felgen sandgestrahlt und pulverbeschichtet
  • Motor/Getriebe eisgestrahlt

(... translated into english with google!)

Early 2014 In Sweden acquired "blind"! The sales description "god skick" (good condition) seems due to the seller's perception or visual impairment and was definitely not the whole truth ... It took almost 4 years to research parts, suppliers, and specialists to get the SAAB into condition which justifies a "god skick" halfway. Meanwhile, the performance is again breathtaking and the knowledge of the efficiency of the brake system, you move as a driver very much in the decelerating speed range! But in case of emergency, the  forward opening doors could also be extended as brake flaps. Made in the UK, the shocks can be switched from "comfort" to "sport" and allow cornering speeds near the Powerslide level! Here is an excerpt of the most extensive work, installed new parts and custom-made products, not to speak of the capital and lifetime invests for it:

    it´s ALL NEW:
    - 5x FIRESTONE Tires "Sprint Classic"
    - 4x specially made in the UK shock absorbers, adjustable to "sport" and "comfort"
    - 4x complete brakes: pads, brake cylinders, springs, holders etc.
    - all rubbers around doors and windows
    - Windscreen wiper axles and linkage
    - Bosch ignition
    - sparks
    - 6V battery Bosch
    - Complete wiring (Bosch classic car service)
    - KING gasoline filter with pressure control
    - Headlights & bulbs
    - new taillights - original made of glass
    - Blower bellows, between radiator, blower, ventilation flap
    - Painting on the body
    - Painting on the units in the engine compartment

    This was OVERHAULED:
    - Breaker plate completely refitted (Bosch Oldtimer-Service)
    - Radiator completely overhauled, cleaned
    - Carburetor completely overhauled
    - All 5 rims sandblasted and powder coated
    - Engine / gearbox ice blasted / cleaned

    This has been NEWLY DEVELOPED:
Development of a control system for the entire lighting system through the Bosch classic car service. Thus, the rear light, brake / driving and flashing light is displayed. At the same time, the WINKERS on the side, which may also be in operation, are activated.

    And that too is NEW:
    - MOT
    - Opinion on the classification as vintage car

    Philosphical:
"Beauty is the sum of things that eliminates the need to add, remove or change anything." EXACTLY that applies to this SAAB! If you do not feel that way, you can not be a an enthusiastic supporter of SAAB! The 92 conjures the road users whom he encounters, positive horror in the face: "There drives a plane without propeller and wings!"

    Historical:
1945: Aerospace engineer Gunnar Ljungström designs the first SAAB 92. Based on this, industrial designer Sixten Sason develops the final body shape.
1947: On June 4, the development team presents the first prototype of the Model 92 of the SAAB management. 6 days later, the SAAB 92 will be presented to the press.
    1949: Production starts in December.
1950: Delivery of the first customer vehicles in mid-January. As a result, 2 racing teams start at the Monte Carlo Rally on Saab 92.
1952: Greta Molander and Helga Lundberg win SAAB 92 in the "Ladies Class" at the Monte Carlo Rally.
1953: Also on a SAAB 92 Rolf Mellde wins the Swedish championship. This is followed by the first model update, name change in 92B.
