Ex RAF
SEPECAT JAGUAR
AIRCRAFT
Rolls Royce - Turbomecca
ADOUR 102 Jet engine.
Ideal for Display / Museum use
The Adour is a two shaft turbofan engine used in the BAe Hawk, Sepecat Jaguar, Mitsubishi F1 / T1 and US Navy Goshawk. This example is a Mk102 for a Jaguar aircraft. The engine is still in its transportation frame / storage can and does not have the afterburner / jet pipe assembly fitted. Without the jet pipe assembly the engine looks like an Adour you would expect to see fitted to a BAe Hawk. The engine has been pictured with the top section of the transportation can removed.
Weight and dimensions marked on the transport can:
Weight 17CWT 69 LBS
Height 4' 11''
Length 9'
Width 4' 5''
Engine on its own: Length 77 inch, diameter 22.3 inch. Weight approx 700Kg
The engine is ex MOD surplus equipment and has no history or paperwork. It is being sold for display / museum purposes only.
