11 Classic Novels by Charles Dickens These books look great on a shelf, but are also great to read! Each book is hardback, with a red cloth binding, measuring 19.5cm by 13.5 cm by approximately 4 cm. They have that wonderful old book smell, with plain fronts and the titles in a gold crest on the spine. The books are illustrated by Phiz, and are by Odhams Press Limited, Long Acre, London, WC2, made and printed in Great Britain by the Greycaine Book Manufacturing Company Limited, Watford. They are old books, and have some wear and tear and mild discolouration of the covers, but are in a readable condition. Would make an excellent present to someone who loves the classics, or would add gravitas to any bookshelf! |
